What information do I need to register with First Book?


During online registration, you will be asked for some basic information outlined below:

  • First and last name.
  • Daytime telephone number.
  • Email address — this will become your personal login to access First Book's distribution channels.
  • Organization's Taxpayer Identification Number (i.e. Employer Identification Number or EIN).
  • Organization's name.
  • Organization's mailing address where postal mailings can be received.
  • Organization's primary phone number.
  • Proof of nonprofit status or a letter stating that your organization serves children from low-income families.
  • Description of your organization.
  • Percentage of children from low-income families served by your organization; please round to the nearest whole number.  Please click here to view acceptable determinants of this percentage.
  • Demographic breakdown of children served by your organization: age; primary language (optional); ethnicity (optional).
